Visiting a stud farm in Morocco: planning your visit to El Adiyat
Where El Adiyat Stud is, how to book a visit, what you will see and how to stay safe around horses: our practical guide to visiting the stud.
Published 11 October 2026

Seeing Barb and Arab-Barb horses in their own surroundings, watching mares with their foals and talking with breeders: visiting a stud is the best way to discover a breeding programme. Here is how to plan your visit to El Adiyat Stud.
Where is the stud?
El Adiyat Stud is located in Douar Lmhamda, Moualine El Oued, in the province of Ben Slimane, between Casablanca and Rabat. The exact location and Google Maps directions are on our contact page.
Visits by appointment
A stud is a working place where the horses’ care follows a precise routine, so visits are by appointment only. Message us on WhatsApp or by email and tell us:
- when you are available and how many people are coming;
- the purpose of your visit: discovering the stud, interest in a horse, the 2026 foals…;
- whether children will be with you.
The contact form drafts your message in a few seconds.

What you will see
- the stables, with stalls lining a covered aisle;
- the presentation lawn, where horses are shown in hand;
- the arena, a sand track lined with white rails;
- our breeding stock, Barb and Arab-Barb stallions and mares;
- depending on the season, mares with this year’s foals.
For a foretaste, browse our photo gallery and the profiles of our horses.

Staying safe around horses
Horses are powerful, sensitive animals. A few simple rules make the visit enjoyable for everyone:
- always follow the stud team’s instructions;
- approach a horse from the front or the side, calmly, talking to it;
- never walk behind a horse and do not run near the stalls;
- do not feed the horses without permission;
- wear closed shoes and keep children close to you;
- avoid flash photography and sudden movements.

When to come
In spring the stud lives to the rhythm of the breeding season and foaling: the ideal time to see the foals. In summer, choose early morning or late afternoon, the coolest hours for horses and visitors alike.
We look forward to welcoming you: get in touch to arrange a date.
